OH MY SLAVERING WOLVES OF OBLIVION...IT'S DAY TWO OF PANDAMONIUM 13!!!
Hold onto your cats, kids - fierce panda's ruthlessly misspelt annual New Year-bustin' Pandamonium event is back for 2013. The plot remains as ear-lickingly simple as ever: to kick away the Christmas cobwebs by retoxing down the Bull & Gate between Tuesday January 8th and Friday January 11th in the company of Alcopop!, Two Tap, Disorder and, of course, a dozen or so fresh-faced alternative combos. Advance tickets for all four shows are available right now for a chesnut roasting £4.00. Day Two out of four sees those hectic flimflams from fierce panda bring the noise with this stage-invading bill here¬¶ Pandamonium '13 Day Two Wednesday January 9th: Fierce Panda presents Bamboooozled DINGUS KHAN + GOD DAMN London Kentish Town Bull & Gate 389 Kentish Town Road, NW5 2TJ (020 8826 5000) doors: 8.00pm tickets £4.00 advance from HERE DINGUS KHAN (onstage 10.15pm) are from Manningtree on the very northern tippity tip of Essex. They are the rocknrolling answer to the inevitable question "what happens if you combine three bassists with three drummers and add a hectic electric ukelele and top it off with a bloke in a dress? And then throw in a hairy handful of serrated melody nuggets with crazy power chords and mental prog bits and gobby poppy shouting?" Their 'Support Mistley Swans' album is out right blinking now on fierce panda and has been described as ?ìthe sound of Blur-meets-Slipknot¬ù, and thats just by the office tea maker. www.facebook.com/dinguskhanband GOD DAMN (onstage 9.30pm) "Something magnificently evil is stirring in the Black Country. With gargantuan riffs and utterly bestial howls, engorged with the esoteric secrets of an army of effects pedals and pickled in deep blues culture, Wolverhamptons God Damn represent a unique and thoroughly impressive addition to the UKs underground music scene." - Musical Mathematics |
