| Ah yes. Back in the mists of time a wee red box travelled around the country in the company of the Rain Band and Medium 21. It's quest? To find a demo worthy of release on temptation's sister label fierce panda records. In the end the box came home stuffed to the cardboard gills with an amazing ninety demos which we have now managed to plough through with the aid of a few buckets of tea and mountains of jammie dodgers. Unfortunately the quality of the music was so high that we have been unable to yet decide upon one winner out of the ten bands thus far plucked from el boxo. Apologies for that. However Plan B is for a winning demo to be chosen over the Easter weekend so we should have a name up in shimmering lights on both www.fiercepanda.co.uk and www.temptationrecords.co.uk on TUESDAY APRIL 22ND. In the meanwhilst here is a list of those ten bands who've made it through to the next stage as it were? Healey 3000 |
