�Timid Kisses� is an urgent
restless guitar track that couples National Service�s signature baritone vocal with hypnotic
unrelenting drums. While the tender lyric recalls the fond memory of a love lost
the claustrophobia in the music points towards a more forlorn nostalgia. The song ascends to its frantic climax
ruminating on what is now and what could have been.�

The �Timid Kisses� single follows the excellent National Service debut �A Little More Time�
which came out in January as part of the fierce panda singles club. In true classic double AA-side form the flip of the �Timid Kisses� single is �Brother Be Good� which is a more genteel affair which builds up a gently cosmic head of steam. They will always be together. Together in electric dreams.
