* OH MY FRANTIC FACEMASKS, IT'S...PANDEMICAMONIUM! *
* HATCHAM SOCIAL, PRIMA QUEEN, SCROUNGE, MEMES, JEKYLL, OLI SWAN & THE DANGEROUS CREATURES AND MANY OTHER WILD ANIMALS CELEBRATE THE ESCAPE TO POP VICTORY! *
Well, what a panda palaver. We've been locked up, rocked down and totes NOT free to do whatever we want, any old time as the coronavirus has fizzed hither and zither across the battered, tattered live gigosphere since the meddlesome middlings of March 2020 ...And now? Baby we're bored! But we're back! We think!
So regular viewers will know that since the very late 1990s we have hosted a New Year Gigging Thing called Pandamonium!, which showcases groovy fresh bands in the post-Christmas crush. In the late 1990s we were chilling with the likes of Coldplay at the Bull & Gate, and 21 years later, on the eve of the fierce pandemic, we were hitting the heights with the likes of Italia 90 at the Lexington.
We didn't do it this New Year because of the second covid wave. But never fear, when gigs are near we're always here. And so we're putting on a wee mini-fest called Pandemicamonium featuring a slew of panda bandas and friends to celebrate some kind of return to whatever-normality-will-look-like, rather like this...
Oh my frantic facemasks, it's...PANDEMICAMONIUM!!
