** ALBERT GOLD CLOCKS ON TO RELEASE ‘ALL THIS TIME’ SINGLE 20/10… ** **…AND HEADLINES HOMETOWN SHOW AT SEBRIGHT ARMS 29/11 ** A glitchy and scratchy fierce panda one sheet The Man: ALBERT GOLD The Track: ‘ALL THIS TIME’ The Format: DIGITAL SINGLE The Release Date: OCTOBER 20TH 2017 The iTunes Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/all-this-time-single/id1290412918 The Truth: Albert Gold is a sweet soul man from Hackney in East London. In November he is releasing his sophomore EP, succinctly titled ‘Second’, to tie in with his headline show at the nearby Sebright Arms on Wednesday November 29th where he is joined by Amaroun + Strike. Before then comes the terrific lead-off single, a blast of slicked-back glitched-up soulpop freshness called ‘All This Time’ which was co-written with Fraser Churchill and produced by Albert’s live co-conspirator Cadit. The ‘Second’ EP is indeed the second out of three Albert Gold Extended Play releases slated to come out over the next year. The first was the summertime ‘Oxygen’ EP wherein the lead track, much like previous underground blog smashes ‘Into The Wild’ and ‘Don’t Let Me Go’, was co-written with Sacha Skarbek (and Tom Baxter) in Kensaltown Studios. Bolstered by live shows for Communion, Tipping Point, BMI / The Fix, London In Stereo, Sofar Sounds and Good Karma, and backed by consistent airplay support from Huw Stephens at Radio 1 and Gary Crowley at BBC Introducing London, Albert Gold put the finishing touches to the ‘Second’ EP at Red Bull Studios in South London late September. Now he returns to the east of town for this special launch party here:
DARK PARTY PRESENTS
AMAROUN is the latest project from multi-talented producer and songwriter JAY BROWN, existing at the sonic crossroads where ERYKAH BADU, PJ HARVEY and FEIST meet. Armed with songs about coming out, moving up and not being kept down, AMAROUN creates a truly unique form of kaleidoscopic pop music for the 21st century.
STRIKE is a smooth hip-hop operator from East London via Reading whose name, fittingly, stands for Strive To Revel In Kind Emotions. He has a super-melodic new single out called ‘Sunshine’ which by some exquisite coincidence features ALBERT GOLD.

“More than anything else, an opportunity to sit back and luxuriate in Albert’s ridiculously wonderful vocal.”
“Described as a bridge between Frank Ocean and Luther Vandross, Gold doesn’t just go heavy on emotion, or melody, or rhythm - he excels in all areas.” |
