Emboldened by the (occasionally) super-sizzling seasonal sunshine fierce panda is slapping on the lotion and lapping up the cocktail potion and putting on a special FREE summer showcase at The Hospital Club in that there Covent Garden on Wednesday July 29th.
This early evening show features appearances by two of the panda's more mellow, mellifluous acts, those acts being the heroically emotive LONGFELLOW and sultry sub-shoegazers MASAKICHI. Admission is strictly by guestlist only, and here are the details heeeere...

The Truth:
LONGFELLOW (onstage 8.15pm) it was on July 29th 2013 that these lovelorn indie emoters self-released their first ever single, 'Gabrielle', the video for which actually featured frontman Owen emoting in an operating theatre. Continuing the fragile medical theme and celebrating this second anniversary of their debut Longfellow are returning to The Hospital with stories to tell and new songs to spin. Over the past two years the quintet have played SXSW and CMJ, toured with Hall & Oates, released one mini-album and an EP and generally made themselves at home on the nation's airwaves. Indeed, over the past year they have been playlisted by Radio 2 no fewer than three times, the last playlist being in spring for 'Where I Belong' which you can see on YouTube
Next up is a brand new single called 'Choose', which is out on fierce panda on September 4th and is even bigger and even more emotional than anything they've done before, and that's saying something.

MASAKICHI (pronounced MASS-A-KEY-CHEE, onstage 7.15pm) are a seductive new London boy / girl / girl combo who release their debut single 'Hummingbird' on the panda (pronounced PAN-DA) on Friday July 24th, ie not but five days before this show. 'Hummingbird' is released on download and beer mat (yes, beer mat!!!) as part of the panda's rejuvenated singles 'club', and as befits the lowslung Masakichi make-up it sounds powerful and potent with a darkly epic edge.
