It has been just over one rabbit-chasing year since Club Fandango took over the booking diary at the Bull & Gate. In that time new nights have been launched with feckless impunity, with the likes of mybandsbetterthanyourband, wegottickets, PRS and Going Deaf For A Living all modelling the promoting beret on a regular basis. One of those new new nights is brought to you by the good burghers at fierce panda records, and that new new night is called Bamboooozled, which is so new we still havent worked out how many oooos should be in it yet. June 2011 saw the kinetic likes of The Kabeedies and Duologue play the opening palaver, and now Bamboooozled #2 delivers a veritable feast of ampersand-themed fun. An ampersand, as we all know, is ?ìa logogram representing the conjunction word and.¬ù And / & that is something these three combos know very much all about¬¶
KURRAN & THE WOLFNOTES (onstage 10.00pm)
Regular panda onlookers may care to recall that Kurran & A Wolfnote made a charming appearance at the fierce panda 17th birthday party in April with Goldheart Assembly. This time around Kurran is celebrating the completion of his debut album by bringing the full wolf-themed quota for a night of fiercely emoted alt.folkpop which makes people think of the Decemberists and fellow ampersand enthusiasts Iron & Wine.

SISSY & THE BLISTERS (onstage 9.15pm)
Regular fandango onlookers may care to recall that Sissy & The Blisters have appeared on the Bull & Gate boards before. Still barely half a year old this heroically pencil-legged foursome have been causing ructions in the underground with the rockuntroll roustabouting of the We Are The Others single. Think The Strokes on a budget of thruppence and a diet of manic pop dreams and watch out for a five track EP coming atcha in September¦

DOYLE & THE FOURFATHERS (onstage 8.30pm)
Regular Bamboooooozled onlookers may care to note that we really love our new bands, and so it is that Doyle & The Fourfathers are here playing their first gig for us at the Bull & Gate because we really quite like their way with a zippy indiepop chorus and a heartily euphoric melody. Or, in their own words, ?ìDoyle & The Fourfathers are becoming known for their brilliant songcraft, fantastic tunes and excellent live show. You wont be disappointed.¬ù & so say all of us.
