Good news all round last week as fierce panda was revealed the single most
popular record company site as chosen by the visitors of the excellent
drownedinsound.com website. Greater still Jo Whiley played our Keane single
'Everybody's Changing'. And then the report in Time Out that Charlie from Busted's two
favourite labels are - ummmmmmmm - fierce panda and Chemikal Underground? this week stroppy Stroud punkas LE NEON release their debut mini-album upon an unsuspecting world. Our old friend John Peel was caught raving about them last week and rightly so as 'Luss' (for that is the name of the CD) reminds us of really early Blur and really early Idlewild having a right old bloomin' bunfight. It's cheery it's bleary it's cheap as chips and it's out now. And lastly the Winnebago Boys are on tour again this time with Kinesis ? as always details of all dates can be found in the gigs section. |
