| Norwich indie punkstas THE PISTOLAS have won the indierock catagory of the Diesel-U-Music demo competition for 2005. Over 800 entries flooded in from around the country and after much head-scratching in a top secret location in the West End of London representatives of Xfm NME Sanctuary Management and fierce panda batted the best 16 demos around until the Pistolas emerged the least bloodied. Close-but-no-cigar awards went to Tom Cartledge Circlesound Envy & Other Sins Fraction The Fratellis Kalev The Main Ones MOT Olympus Mons Out With Mummy The Race The Reverse The Slides Tramps Corner and Twofold. |
