The Truth: Northern Irish noise fermenters ASH crash back on the road this month with their top 15 album ‘Ad Astra’ album in full fuzzy effect. Continuing the theme of their late 2025 dates they are underplaying their hearts out in so many ways, visiting many a toilet circuit venue last Ashed up many moons ago.

To celebrate the live affair the funsome trio release a new single off the ‘Ad Astra’ album on February 3rd, the very day they kick off this tour with a rammed show at The Scala. That new single is ‘Keep Dreaming’, a classic slice of Ashen powerpunkpop with a classic Ashen key change. Not only that, but it comes accompanied by ‘Keep Dreaming’ (Antosh Remix), six minutes of slinky synth-tastic sonics, a bit like a wide-eyed Underworld wandering through the Tokyo underground. Metro a-go-go indeed.

Extra brilliantly cosmic news: ‘Ad Astra’ album opener ‘Zarasthustra’ is being used to soundtrack the travels and indeed the travails of the imminent Artemis II lunar spaceflight mission. What would the girl from mars think??

Not only that, but following singer Tim Wheeler’s appearance on the Birth. School. ROCK! Death. fierce panda podcast last year, drummer Rick McMurray stepped up to the pod plate for - aha - Birth.
