Hatcham Social, The Molotovs and Goldheart Assembly are fronting up the panda assault on this year's Fistful Of Fandango 3 event in big London Town. Read it and weep great big shiny tears of joy...
A FISTFUL OF FANDANGO 3 The hipsters behind Club Fandango are exceedingly pleased to announce that the esteemed likes of HERMAN DUNE, ART BRUT, FUTURE OF THE LEFT and PETE & THE PIRATES are now confirmed as the four headliners of the apocalypse for FISTFUL OF FANDANGO 3 which will be taking place at the 229 Venue on Londons Great Portland Street between Wednesday September 9th and Saturday September 12th. This four night stand will once again see Team Fandango take over the whole venue to deliver the good punters of London Town six acts a night, with the three bands on the main stage interacting skilfully with the three bands in on the New Blood stage in Room 2 ‚ this year presented by Schuh and hosted by the indie dream team of Converse & Artrocker - to ensure that there is nary a pause for musical breath throughout the whole jolly evening. And those jolly evenings look something like this¬¶

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12TH Always delighted to blunder in blindly where other sensible types fear to tread, Club Fandango set up A Fistful Of Fandango on a ning and a prayer in the then-unknown 229 venue in September 2007. Maps, Friendly Fires, British Sea Power, Camera Obscura, Broken Records and Frightened Rabbit were just some of the highlights from the first two annual events as A FISTFUL OF FANDANGO indelibly stamped itself upon the alternative mini-urban festival map, snuggling in at the tail end of the festival season just in between Reading / Leeds Festival and Bestival. And A FISTFUL OF FANDANGO 3 promises to be bigger and more berserk than ever before as the crack Club Fandango booking crew has been working alongside the tastemakers at Converse Music and Artrocker magazine to bring yet more leftfield pop joy to the world. On the Fandango stage the established likes of winsome folksters HERMAN DUNE and the fearsomely thursting FUTURE OF THE LEFT rub shoulders with ever popular indiepop charmers ART BRUT and PETE & THE PIRATES. The Schuh New Blood stage proffers a slew of the sultriest underground talent to sneak into the post-gothic limelight this year, notably KASMS, LION CLUB and FACTORY FLOOR. And elsewhere super cool fun is to be had with the relentless melodic chaos of WHITE BELT YELLOW TAG, the sumptuous alt.pop.country fare of GOLDHEART ASSEMBLY and, of course, the ragged glory of 21-piece choral girl combo GAGGLE. So then. 1 venue: 2 stages: 4 nights: 24 bands: @ the 229. Lets go number-crunching¦
